Yasmine Bleeth, the star of Baywatch, cut a gorgeous figure in her one-off public appearance as she was ready to celebrate her 55th birthday.
In a black top, tan skirt, and stylish wedges, the infamously reclusive former actress—who gained popularity as lifeguard Caroline Holden on the popular 1990s show—turned heads as she made her way to a sushi lunch in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. Yasmine’s unusual public appearance came after she was last seen in October looking dishevelled and walking her dog while wearing jammies.
The former actress, who celebrated her 55th birthday today, co-starred in 72 episodes of Baywatch with David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, among others. The television series, which was filmed on the beaches of Los Angeles County and then Hawaii, became a huge teatime smash and one of the most watched shows in the entire globe.
It debuted in September 1989 and ran for 11 seasons until 2001, attracting millions of viewers each week. Along with Carmen Electra and Jason Momoa, Yasmin became well-known thanks to the show.
But Yasmin also struggled privately, and in 2000 her cocaine addiction forced her into treatment. After an automobile accident in Michigan the following year, she was taken into custody.
In her car, police discovered syringes containing injectable cocaine. When they searched her nearby hotel room, they discovered additional drugs.
