Jim Starr (Laser), America’s longest-serving Gladiator, stunned his fans on June 28 by admitting that he often went into roid rages while filming the popular 1980s action series. The star admitted to using steroids in the upcoming Netflix docu-series Muscles & Mayhem to bulk up for her competitions with other contestants.
Jim claimed that while they were celebrating their achievement, he and Nitro’s character Dan Clark got into an argument over who could change the music channel on the latter’s red Jeep. When they jostled and Starr slapped Dan, their verbal altercation turned physical.
Men weighing 240 kilograms stopped the car and started fighting in the middle of the road while they were soaked in adrenaline and steroids. Jim bit Clark’s cheek after being put in the head. That’s not allowed in the pit, so Dan quickly let him go.
As Jim was about to stand up using Clark’s arm and admit he did what he needed to do to win, Clark punched him in the eye for biting him. Afterwards, despite everyone seeing the two men’s wounds, they hugged each other and continued to have fun as if nothing had happened.
