News about Jeff Tiedrich
In the Trump era, being online is always like being stuck in a disorganized time loop. Along with his general penchant for the show, the president’s combative Twitter presence keeps viewers in a constant state of reaction. He often changes what he just said or did several times in one day, but the cartoon battle cloud surrounding him never changes.
However, that doesn’t mean political observers have to be equally repetitive in their reactions just because the president’s scathing statements are coming at such a rapid rate that they tend to blend.
However, on every Trump-related news story, pundits of all stripes shout the same stale commentary into the echo chamber every day without fail. This pattern has developed into a well-rehearsed dance over the past few years: Trump leads, Politics Twitter follows, etc.
Even while reading Trump’s latest offensive remark is horrible enough, surrounded by so many overused, fake-witty quote-tweets makes it even worse.
However, things don’t have to be that way. While some people might benefit from it, not everyone should ignore Trump entirely. Instead, Politics Twitter just needs to come up with some new approaches to responding to the online uproar Trump is causing — or at the very least, retire some of the funnier responses that used to be fun but have since turned into conveyor belt chatter.
Trying not to rely solely on “hits” can be difficult. A few of the tropes listed here are ones I’ve personally used. However, it would go a long way toward making each day between now and the election less like the day before if everyone stopped supporting them at this point.
