Nuh School and College Closure Updates: Nuh District Administration has ordered all respective schools, colleges and banks to remain closed on August 28, 2023 in light of Shobha Yatra. This decision has been taken as Haryana’s Nuh is still on high alert expecting a situation like what happened after the same Yatra took place on 31st July 2023.

Speaking about the security measures in Nuh district ahead of Shobha Yatra, Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgat said that they have ordered schools, colleges and banks to remain closed on Monday, August 28, 2023. Borders have also been closed to avoid any unexpected situation, reports they said.

Nuh SDM Ashwini Kumar also said that Section 144 has been imposed in the district and appealed to citizens to avoid any kind of movement, reports added.

Earlier today, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that people can do ‘jalabhishek’ in local temples as an alternative to Shobha Yatra. He further said that the government’s policy is to maintain law and order in the state.

Despite denial of permission by police authorities and Haryana government, preparations are underway for another religious Shobha Yatra organized by Sarv Jatiya Hindu Mahapanchayat in Nuh, Haryana. Security measures have been introduced in all regions. This Shobha Yatra is scheduled for Monday, August 28, 2023.
