Season 21 of American Idol

Season 21 of American Idol, aka Season 6 according to ABC, will be hosted by producer Ryan Seacrest. Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Jennifer Mullin and Megan Michaels Wolflick are producing the part. After rehearsals in Las Vegas, New Orleans and Nashville, judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will decide who qualifies for Hollywood week and other challenges.

Auditors who receive a Gold Ticket will advance to the next challenge, Hollywood Week, while those who win a Platinum Ticket will be able to skip the first round of Hollywood Week. The producers have not disclosed the amount of the season’s prize money, although last season’s winner received $250,000.
