Tyson Venegas began singing at the age of three, performing lively melodies for his mother. At seven, he won the PNE Star Showdown talent competition in Canada and was recognized as the youngest winner. He received a $5,000 cash prize, which he spent on lessons for piano, trumpet, jazz and vocals. Additionally, he used his title to meet his idol Michael Buble.

Season 21 of American Idol
Season 21 of American Idol, aka Season 6 according to ABC, will be hosted by producer Ryan Seacrest. Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Jennifer Mullin and Megan Michaels Wolflick are producing the part. After rehearsals in Las Vegas, New Orleans and Nashville, judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will decide who qualifies for Hollywood week and other challenges.
ABC describes the series as follows:
“Many American contestants perform in front of famous judges to win titles and record contracts.”
Auditors who receive a Gold Ticket will advance to the next challenge, Hollywood Week, while those who win a Platinum Ticket will be able to skip the first round of Hollywood Week. The final 24 singers will compete against each other in live challenges and collect public votes to win American Idol Season 21 after many head-to-head confrontations. The producers have not disclosed the amount of the season’s prize money, although last season’s winner received $250,000.
