Robin Haase will play in the first round of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament against David Goffin, to be determined by the lucky draw on Friday. Tallon Griekspoor meets Filip Krajinović.

The 32-year-old Haase was at the beginning of January with a wild card for the ABN AMRO tournament, in which twelve-year-olds can participate. This can be compared to the record held by Jan Siemerink, who is also a twelve-time all-parter in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Haase, who lost to Mihail Kukushkin in the first round last year, meets Goffin, currently ranked 10th in the world. The 29-year-old Belgian, who lost in mid-2017, is still in his last fight with Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Griekspoor (who also has a wild card and was accepted into the main draw) opposes Krajinović. The Croatian’s world number is much higher than the Dutch’s (instead of 39 to 172).

The 23-year-old Griekspoor reached the second round last year. Karen Khachanov stands out by including him in the play-in game. By 2018, it beat Stan Wawrinka’s Griekspoor in the first round.

The 47th edition of the ABN AMRO tournament will begin with Saturday’s qualifiers. The Eersterondepartijen will end on Monday and the final is next week.
