How to find gifts
The hardest part of this quest is actually getting the gifts. There is no guaranteed way to find it during gameplay, which makes this quest extremely tedious to complete. Holiday gifts appear as loot on the floor and from chests with a very low drop rate. Unfortunately, players have reported playing up to an hour before finding it on the map.
So it’s best to run around and loot as much as possible while visiting as many locations as possible. You can actually pick up gifts from eliminated enemies, so keep your eyes open as you fight enemies around the map. Maybe they have a gift on their body.
Note that for this quest you must drop three bounties at the named locations, but they don’t all have to be dropped in the same match.
How to throw gifts at different named places
After you finally get hold of the gift, you have to throw it in a certain place. Named locations are major points of interest (POIs) on the map, such as Faulty Splits and Anvil Square. Hopefully you’re already close to the named location when you find the gift, if not, you’ll have to travel to the main point of interest as safely as possible. This means using a vehicle and as much cover as possible so you don’t get eliminated before you actually throw the gift. There’s nothing worse than finally finding a gift, only to be eliminated before you can drop it in the designated spot.
