Who is Bam Margera?
Brandon “Bam” Margera is an American celebrity known for his involvement in skateboarding, stunts, television and filmmaking. He gained recognition in the early 2000s as one of the main personalities of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass and its subsequent films. Margera created several spin-off series such as Viva La Bam, Bam’s Unholy Union, Bam’s World Domination and Bam’s Bad Ass Game Show.
He is also the co-writer and director of the films Haggard and Minghags. Margera was born on September 28, 1979 and is the younger brother of musician Jessa Margera and the nephew of television personality Vincent “Don Vito” Margera. His childhood nickname “Bam Bam” was given to him by his grandfather because of his habit of running into walls on purpose.
Over time, his peers shortened his nickname to “Bam”. Before his television fame, Margery’s parents worked in different professions, his mother as a hairdresser and his father as an accountant.

Bam Margera is currently involved in legal trouble and is evading arrest. A warrant was issued for him following an incident in which he allegedly threatened and physically assaulted several people, including his father and brother. The charges he faces include assault, harassment and making terroristic threats with intent to terrorize others.
According to reports, the incident occurred in April at a residence in Chester County. Bam is reported to have kicked in a locked bedroom door, verbally abused his brother, physically assaulted him, left a threatening note and even urinated in the sink. He allegedly threatened to harm everyone in the house, including their father and two others.
Bam fled into a wooded area, leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest. In addition, Bam was previously arrested in March on charges related to domestic violence, but it appears that no charges were ultimately filed in that case.
Is Bam Margera dead?
No, Bam Margera is not dead. According to the latest information, he is still alive. In December 2022, Bam Margera was hospitalized due to health problems. During an appearance on the Steve-O podcast, he revealed that he had been suffering from pneumonia and was having seizures. He mentioned that he was “pronounced dead” on arrival at the hospital, and later found out that he had contracted Covid-19.
Bam Margera was admitted to a hospital in San Diego, where he tested positive for Covid-19. He was put on a ventilator and admitted to intensive care, but was released the next day. He expressed his gratitude to friends and fans for their support during his recovery. On December 9, 2022, Bam Margera was admitted to the hospital with a severe pneumonia infection, and was discharged after eight days.

Bam Margera married twice in his life. His first marriage was to Missy Rothstein and lasted for five years from 2007 to 2012. They were married on February 3, 2007 in Philadelphia, which was documented in the MTV series “Bam’s Unholy Union”. Missy Rothstein, born June 3, 1980 in Springfield, Pennsylvania, is an actress known for her roles in films such as “Minghags”, “Haggard” and The 69 Eyes: “Dead Girls Are Easy”. However, Bam and Missy split in November 2012.
Bam Marger’s second marriage took place in Reykjavik, Iceland on October 5, 2013 when he married Nicole Boyd. They have a child together named Phoenix Wolf Margera, who was born on December 23, 2017.
