JEE Main 2022 Application Correction Window Begins: After the completion of JEE Main 2022 application and registration process, NTA – National Testing Agency has opened application correction window from today. As per the official notification, NTA JEE Main 2022 application correction window is open from today – April 6, 2022 and will be available to the applicants on April 8 till 9 pm. During this period, candidates will be allowed to make changes and edit errors and mistakes in the JEE Main 2022 registration form by visiting the official portal – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Why is the main JEE application debugging window provided?

The JEE Main 2022 application correction window is available for candidates to edit any errors or mistakes they may have made during the initial stage of the application process. However, this is a one-time facility offered to students and therefore they should ensure that all the details provided in the JEE Main 2022 application form are correct and verified.

What details can be changed during the main JEE 2022 application correction window?

Since the JEE Main 2022 application correction period starts from today, it is important that students or candidates are aware of the details that NTA may change during this period. NTA allows candidates to change only a few details in the application form during the correction period. Details about the same are given below:

  • Parent’s name: Candidates can change or edit their mother or father name
  • Category and subcategory: During the application correction period, candidates are also allowed to edit the category and sub-category (PwD) in the application form. Along with this, they should also upload the new sub-category certificate (PwD) as required to verify the edited details.
  • Correct / add courses: Candidates can also change, edit or add the courses they want to apply for during the correction period.
  • City and media: Candidates are also allowed to change the exam city and exam medium as per the provisions allowed for the 1st session / April session of the exam
  • Qualification exam and year: Candidates will also be able to change the qualifying exam and passing exam year in the JEE Main 2022 application form
  • Date of birth and gender: For non-Aadhar verified candidates, date of birth and gender field will also be open for editing.

What is the fee for JEE Main 2022 Application Correction?

The NTA’s official notification regarding the time limit for JEE Main 2022 application correction said that the candidate concerned will pay the “additional fee (wherever applicable) either through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI and PAYTM.” However, the notification does not mention the fee amount applicable to JEE Main 2022 Application Correction.
