NEET 2022 Exam Date Announced: NTA – The National Testing Agency has officially informed us that the NEET 2022 exam will be held on 17th July 2022. This announcement comes as a huge relief to nearly 16 million NEET 2022 candidates who were waiting for the exam date updates and notice for almost a month. Along with the announcement of NEET exam dates, the apex testing agency has also released the official notification for NEET 2022 which contains details like key exam events and their respective dates, exam pattern, marking scheme and eligibility criteria details. Important Dates of NEET 2022
One of the most searched and eagerly awaited details about the NEET 2022 exam was the exam date and other key dates related to the medical entrance exam. The official NEET 2022 notification released today provides much-needed clarity on this. As mentioned above, NEET 2022 exam is scheduled for 17th July 2022. Accordingly, NTA has started the application process for NEET 2022 from tonight – 6th April 2022. NEET 2022 application process begins
As confirmed earlier by NTA Director General Vinnet Joshi, the application process for NEET 2022 has officially started tonight – 6th April 2022. The online registration and application process for NEET 2022 will continue for a whole month, ending on 6th May 2022. To avoid facing any issues or problems during registration, candidates are advised to follow the step by step procedure for NEET 2022 application given below.
- Step 1: Login to the exam portal – neet.nta.ac.in
- Step 2: Find and click on the NEET 2022 Application Form link
- Step 3: Register on the portal by entering basic information
- Step 4: Login to the website using your newly created credentials
- Step 5: Fill the application form with your academic, personal and contact information
- Step 6: Upload supporting documents, category certificate, passport size photograph and signature
- Step 7: Pay the required application fee for NEET 2022
- Step 8: Check all the details and submit them to the website
- Step 9: Download the confirmation page and save it to your device
Candidates should note that for the 2022 session, NTA has launched the facility to make on DigiLocker App and website — digilocker.gov.in.
What is the application fee for NEET 2022?
As per the official notification, NEET 2022 application fee is Rs 1600 for general category students. The same for reserved category students i.e. General-EWS/OBC-NCL is Rs.1500 while for SC/ST/PwBD/third gender candidates it is Rs.900. For NRI or Non-India candidates, NEET 2022 application fee is Rs.8500.
