A video of a man touching a journalist inappropriately on live television was published on social networks. The incident happened in Spain where a man touched a journalist while she was standing on the street reporting on a robbery.

X user Stefan Simanowitz shared a video of the incident. “‘Do you really have to touch my ass?’ Yesterday, journalist Isa Balado was in the middle of reporting live in Madrid when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her, grabbing her butt,” wrote Simanowitz. Police later responded to Simanowitz’s tweet with a video showing the man’s arrest.
A video tweeted by Simanowitz shows Isa Balado reporting in front of a camera for channel Cuatro. The man casually walks towards her and touches her. He also asks her which channel she works for.

The owner of Cuatra Mediaset Espana issued a statement about the incident. Espana said the channel “categorically rejects any form of harassment or aggression. We fully support Isa Balado, reporter of ‘En boca de todos’, after the absolutely unbearable situation she experienced today.”
Equality Minister Irene Montero also expressed her support for Balad. “Touching without consent is sexual violence and we say enough of impunity,” she said.
