Lil Tay says ‘abusive’ father faked her death, even posts cryptic image, he calls accusations false and hints at lawsuit

Youth icon and influencer Lil Tay is back in the news for her fake death saga. Remember a month ago a post on her Instagram announced her death and within 24 hours she went public claiming it was fake.

She now claims that her father, Christopher J. Hope, who she describes as a ‘violent racist misogynistic father-beating woman’, faked her death.

In the next story published on her Instagram account, she added a picture of a passport without any associated text, which made many wonder what she meant by that.

But Lil Tay’s father isn’t taking these accusations with lies. In an exclusive interview with TMZ, Hope said, “The person responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone who repeats the completely false and defamatory accusation within it, will almost certainly become defendants in a defamation lawsuit.

Is Hope foreshadowing a defamation lawsuit against her daughter or her mother? Without naming her, the suggestion that the allegations call for a defamation lawsuit suggests Hope may be pursuing legal options.

Hope went on to add: ‘Everything stated is 100% false and I believe that should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements by various people who have controlled the Instagram account.’

Interestingly, Tay’s former manager, Harry Tsang, has come out in support of her father, claiming: Hope “I really don’t think dad is involved in this. On top of that, he doesn’t have access to the Instagram account.”

Who is telling the truth in this saga is hard to fathom. However, reports suggest that Lil Tay’s parents have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle for years, which her mother claims she recently won.
