A THREE-YEAR-OLD girl accidentally shot herself in a terrifying ordeal after taking a firearm without supervision.
The nightmarish event was caught on CCTV and shows the little girl – named Serenity – shooting herself in the arm.

The little boy suffered serious injuries and had to undergo surgery.
The disturbing ordeal happened at her home in Florida, and just moments before it happened she was watching television with a cousin.
Serenity was treated at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where she stayed for three nights before returning home to recover.
The girl’s grandmother, Robin Fuller, posted the gruesome video on Facebook and captioned it: “Video of my granddaughter shooting herself at OTHER GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSE.”
23-year-old cousin Orlando Young – was arrested in connection with having an unattended weapon.
Young now faces charges of child neglect resulting in serious bodily injury, but was released on bail on Tuesday night.
The relative was watching football on TV at a home in the 11000 block of Southwest 220th Terrace, according to WSVN.
The shocking footage shows Serenity running to the couch and grabbing the gun that was left on it.
Just seconds later it shoots and she can be seen doubled over in pain and holding her hand as her cousin rushes to comfort her.
Her four-year-old brother was nearby and can be seen covering his ears after hearing the loud noise.
The toddlers were reportedly being watched by her other grandmother, Fuller told WSVN, but only Serenity, Young and the disabled adult witnessed the video.
In the video, Young can be seen jumping off the sofa to celebrate the touchdown when the gun catches Serenity’s eye.
The girl then starts playing with the firearm before she accidentally pulls the trigger and it fires in her hand.
Another woman appears in the video and appears to be sitting on a sofa, but is disabled and reportedly unable to move.
Young told police he only briefly left the gun on the seat while he watched the game.
Fuller publicly shamed the other grandmother who was responsible for Serenity that day and accused her of negligence.
Despite the devastation, Fuller admits the outcome could have been far worse.
“It could have been worse than this,” she said.
She added: “They are trying to save the finger so we will just pray that the blood flow comes back.
“The police arrived because I called the police myself when I got the phone call and eventually the police arrived and they asked, ‘Where’s the baby?'”
The footage of Serenity shows her in a hospital bed smiling with her arm bandaged.
The traumatized grandmother said: “I don’t want them there ever again.”
Young was in court Monday and is expected to appear again on a separate charge of fighting with another inmate, according to WSVN.
The Department of Children and Families (DCF) told WSVN, “The Department conducts investigations into all allegations of abuse, neglect or abandonment.
“Information about investigations is confidential under section 39.202, Florida Statutes.”
Unfortunately, this is one of many incidents where curious children have stumbled upon an unattended gun.
According to The Trace, 162 children under the age of 13 have shot themselves or another child with an unsecured gun this year.
