The quick action of one woman saved the life of a sheep stuck in a swamp. Instagram user Lynne came across an animal in distress while hiking and decided to help it. She also shared a video of the rescue along with a description of how she came across the sheep and what happened afterwards.

“Following the river back from hiking in the Morne Mountains. Suddenly I hear a shallow baa baa sound. Then I turned my head and saw sheep stuck in the swamp. I ran quickly and pulled out the sheep. I brought the sheep to the river to wash the heavy dirt from its coat. Pulled him back onto dry land, away from the swamp. Fortunately, the sheep regained its energy and was able to walk to its flock. The eye contact when the sheep stood up and looked at me says it all. What a moment I will never forget,” she wrote.
The video opens to show a sheep stuck in a swamp. Lynne soon jumps into action and starts pulling the animal by the horn. She uses all her strength to help the animal get out of an unpleasant situation.
Along with the video, she also shared several pictures showing the sheep leaving after the rescue. In one of the photos, the animal is also looking at its savior as if thanking her.
