According to the UrbanStems site, the recently installed set is a blue bell fern plant that comes inside a pink porcelain pot. Accompanying the beautiful greenery is a very clear glass mister made from King St. Vodka. “The gift is a nod to the plant featured in the celebrity’s cult romantic comedy,” reads the item description, referencing her cult film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days with Matthew McConaughey.
In the 2003 film, the love fern was a product that Hudson’s character, Andie, bought for Ben (McConaughey). When Ben was at a men’s night with his friends, Andie revealed that he had let the plant “expire” and wondered if he would do the same to their relationship.
Hudson’s company considers the movie-inspired item the “perfect” gift for both Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day.

In addition to her fresh Love Fern, Hudson will have boyfriend Danny Fujikawa to keep her company on the romantic vacation.
