The thrice-married Idris told the podcast: “I’ve been in therapy for about a year now.
“That’s a lot.
“It’s because I have unhealthy habits.
“I work in an industry that rewards me for these unhealthy habits.
“I’m an absolute workaholic and that’s not good for life.
“I could work for ten days on underwater sequences holding my breath for six minutes, come back and feel more relaxed than sitting on the sofa with my family, which is bad, right?”
Apart from acting, Idris, who rose to fame on the TV show The Wire in 2002, is a DJ and rapper.
He has a daughter and a son Winston with former partners and married model Sabrina Dhowre in 2019.
