A total of five suspects, including three French soldiers in the espionage service, have now been prosecuted in this investigation.
The case is making a lot of noise in the informative French media. Two men, including a member attached to the General Directorate of External Security (DGSE), have been charged in an attempted murder investigation for which two other suspects linked to the DGSE have already been arrested, the Paris public prosecutor announced on Wednesday.

The case began on July 24 with the arrest in Créteil (Val-de-Marne) of two men, aged 28 and 25, assigned to the specialized parachute training center in Saran (Loiret), which depends on the CCD. Reported by a local resident, they were in a stolen vehicle at the time and were in possession of several weapons, including a revolver and several military knives.

“It seemed that they were ready to carry out a criminal plan, to the detriment of a 54-year-old woman,” the prosecutor said in a press release. The third suspect, who worked in the field of private security, was arrested two days later and subsequently arrested.
Up to 10 years in prison
last week, two more men, including a military man also attached to the center of Karan, were arrested and then on Monday charged with “complicity in attempted voluntary organized murder” and “participation in a criminal association for the commission of these crimes and offenses punishable by a prison sentence of 10 years”.

one of them was also for “concealment in organized theft” and the other for “transportation, acquisition, possession of a category B firearm in an encounter”. The center, to which three members of the military have been added, is one of three DGSE service operations in France, in charge of covert operations made famous by the hit series “Legends’ Office”. Other centers are located in Quelermo, near Brest, and Espliri-of-the-Agly (Pyrenees-Orientales).
