A video of a woman mixing very unusual ingredients into a traditional tea drink has been posted online. The video shows him adding apple slices and a raw egg to milk tea. From disgust to curiosity, the video has elicited mixed reactions from netizens.

The video was posted by a Bangladeshi food blogger on her Facebook page called Sultana’s Cook. Along with the video, she also shared the title in Bengali. When translated into English, it reads: “Add a raw egg to boiling tea and see what happens. This recipe can make you a millionaire.”
The video opens to show a woman adding tea leaves and sugar to a pan. Then she adds apple slices, milk and milk powder to the pan. Here she explains that adding apples reduces the bitterness of the drink, so she likes it. When the mixture starts to boil, he pours a raw egg into it.
As the video progresses, she continues to stir the mixture until the egg is completely melted. When it’s done, she proceeds to strain the mixture and pour it into a cup. Making the drink, he says that there are few who have not tried this drink.
