A heart-stopping video of several storm chasers caught in a tornado has left netizens with chills down their spines. Turner Charles, a content creator from the United States, shared this video documenting his and his friends’ pursuit of a tornado, their subsequent entrapment in it, and the aftermath of the harrowing experience.

Charles shared this video on YouTube. In the caption of the post, he wrote: “On April 4th 2023 my friends and I were hit by some damaging inflow winds outside of Lewistown, IL EF3 that knocked down power lines and trapped us in the path of the tornado. A video opens showing the group tracking the tornado and observing how strong it is. Then they decide to approach it. As the tornado approaches, they are hit by high winds and rain. At one point, when they are near a power line, a sudden gust of wind takes them into a storm. The following is a horrifying video of their car windows being smashed.
After the tornado passes, the footage shows that they miraculously survived it and are trying to get out of the car.
