Ibrahim Maalouf, who was not present at Wednesday’s decision, has always denied any sexual assault and has been appealed. At the appeal hearing on June 2, the general attorney requested a two-year suspended prison sentence against him, as well as a fine of 40,000 euros.

The girl, who was on probation at the time, said the musician first kissed her one night as she was leaving a movie theater in 2013. He said that was the source of the kiss, making sure she rejected his advances. Two days later, according to the complainant’s version, he kissed her again, this time in his Ivry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne) recording studio, and then “caught her by the lake”, simulating sexual intercourse. to act.
