In 2019, Tfue’s success continued, as he took third place in Secret Skirmish Duos. He has qualified for the Fortnite World Cup multiple times and even won the Duo Cash Cup 2020. He may not be the most consistent, but his track record proves that he is an amazing player.
Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson

Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson is one of the youngest players on this list and was only 13 years old when he started picking up steam in 2018. In fact, after qualifying for the Winter Royale semifinals that year, Epic Games actually changed the age limit from 16 to 13 to enable the participation of younger players Fortnite competitions. He took first place in Epic’s Share the Love series, and after partnering with Mitra (which we’ll talk about a bit further down), the duo rounded out the competition, winning the Luxe Cup in 2019. He also qualified several times for the Fortnite World Cup, leading him to sixth place at the 2019 World Championship Mongraal is known for his incredible ability to build quickly — which no doubt helped him take home such a high profit.
Shane “EpikWhale” cotton

Shane “EpikWhale” Cotton became a millionaire by taking home numerous first places in the majors Fortnite competitions. In 2019, EpikWhale took third place in the Fortnite World Cup Finals Solo event, behind the legendary Bugh. He didn’t stop there though, and later took first place in several FNCS events, including the Season 1 Week 2 and Chapter 2 Week 4 events and the Season 2 Chapter 2 Week 2 and Grand Finals events . EpikWhale recently won the NA West Bugha Throwback Cup and overall has an impressive amount of earnings and total wins in the competitive scene.
Benjy “Benjyfishy” fish

Again, Benjy “Benjyfishy” Fish is another player with a long tenure that has led to some hefty earnings. Benjyfishy’s first major win came in the Duo vs. Squad in 2019, where he and MrSavage earned a combined $22,000 for first place. After that, he placed 14th during the Fortnite World Cup Finals Duos event, where he earned $50,000, and then took first place in the FNCS: Season X, Week 2 event in 2019 in Europe. While many of Benjyfishy’s wins have come from duo competition, he also excels solo, as shown by his recent wins during the Week 1 and Week 2 FNCS: Invitational events, where he took first place.
Cody “Clix” Conrad

Cody “Clix” Conrod has been praised by many for his quick build abilities, but he’s also great in general. Similar to many players on this list, Clix has an impressive number of competitive wins, most recently taking first place during the NA East Bugha Throwback Cup. Additionally, he finished 18th during the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Finals solo event, which may not sound like much, but his win earned him $112,500. He then won Week 1 and Week 2 of the 2019 Wednesday Wagers, and later that year grabbed another win during the Week 1 event of FNCS: Season X. Needless to say, Clix is consistent and fun to watch.
Christian “Fray” Hennig

One of the lesser known players on this list is Christian “Fray” Hennig, who is insanely skilled, despite not having as many major tournament wins as others. He has a unique play style that proves his strategies are well thought out, as he often outwits the competition. Fray was a finalist during DreamHack Winter and DreamHack Anaheim 2019 and is known for streaming his sessions during the competition. This would normally make players extremely nervous, but Fray says he doesn’t mind. He’s certainly an up-and-coming player, but even lesser-known players deserve a spot on this list.
David “Aqua” Wang

David “Aqua” Wang, who has accumulated nearly $2 million from Fortnite tournaments, continues the trend of prominent earners. His most notable achievement is winning first place during the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Finals Duos event, where he and his teammate collected a total of $3 million. Aqua shines when he plays as a team, as shown by his doubles triumph during the FNCS: Chapter 2 Season 2 European Week 4 event, his Season X Triples victory during the European Week 3 event, and the grand final of the identical event as part of a trio. Playing as part of a team requires a different mindset than performing alone. Although his solo success is not as noble as others, he remains a key player in the competitive exhibition, thanks to his team’s victories.
Dmitri “Mitr0” Van de Vrie

Following Dmitri “Mitr0” Van de Vrie’s accomplishments during the 2018 Summer Skirmish, where he took many first places in duet, he also secured first place in solo and duo at Fall Skirmish that same year. Later in 2019, he won first place in the Luxe Cup, and in total qualified three times for the Fortnite World Cup, where he even won sixth place in a duet with Mongraal. When it comes to consistency, there are few players more skilled than Mitr0, as evidenced by his many feats. Mitr0 then destroyed opponents in solo matches and even broke the world record earlier this year by defeating 33 players in the Solo Cash Cup.
Rocco “Saf” Morales

Lastly, Rocco “Saf” Morales is an outstanding player who has many notable wins, making him one of the most consistent players on this list. After taking first place during FNCS: Chapter 2 Season 2 in the NA East region, he went on to triumph in numerous competitions, such as the 2019 Duos Secret Skirmish and the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Week 3 event in NA, and even placed second place in Solo Secret Skirmish. Collectively, Saf has amassed over $1 million playing Fortnite competitively, proving to be an undeniable beast of a player, both solo and as a team member.
