Luke Worley, one of the individual contestants on this season’s Married at First Sight, trusts Mel, Charlene and Paul to help him find the one he’s been looking for his whole life.
His bio reads: “Luke is known as “the funny one” in his hometown and can always be counted on to crack a joke. However, despite being a social butterfly, he has struggled to find a wife and has endured his fair share of rejections over the years. Can the experts find him a woman who will welcome his outgoing personality? The young man from Essex was paired with Jay Howard, a salesman, whom he married in the opening scene of the popular reality series.
Jay is from Lancashire. The 31-year-old claimed to experts that she was looking for The One and that she was first worried by her fiance’s reaction to her impairment. However, she was overjoyed when Luke assured her that he was swept away by his new bride.

Both contestants had nothing but happy and fond memories of their big day after their wedding episode aired. Sharing a photo of them in their stunning bridal ensemble, Jay wrote: “Oh my god what a day it was! I can’t believe the love and support we’ve received all of a sudden @lukeworley1!”
“I’m so grateful to everyone for the kind words, honestly you have no idea how much it means to me.” She added: “We had the best day and I can’t wait for you all to watch our journey together, [wink emoji]. So overwhelming, but at the same time I still feel like it’s not real!”
Luke posted a similar statement on his Instagram, prompting rumors among followers that they are still happily married.
He wrote: “I hope you all enjoyed watching our wedding as much as we did! It was an amazing day and I couldn’t have wished for anything better. This will always be a day I will never forget. I can’t wait for you all to see the rest of our journey.”
The final episodes of the current UK season of Married at First Sight haven’t aired yet, so fans aren’t yet privy to Jay and Luke’s decision to stay together after their vows, which usually happen in the last few episodes of the show. . When I was in the local pub, everyone was like, ‘Oh, where’s your ring?’ but we are not actually allowed to wear the ring. Everyone has to take off their clothes, so no one knows if you’re together or not.”

Luke of Clacton, was enjoying his bachelor holiday in Kos, Greece, when he struck up a conversation with a girl in a bar in Kardamena Square. After a few alcoholic drinks, the former Colbayns High School student decided to ask for her number in hopes of meeting up again during the trip.
“She gave me what I thought was her number and we went our separate ways,” said Luke, who is about to launch a weight management and men’s grooming business. After a few more drinks, he finally decided to call ‘Sarah’ – a girl he’d met the night before – to see where she was going to watch the game.
However, he soon realized that she had planted a fake number for him… when the famous TV host Maya Jama answered instead.
Luke said: “First I tried to call her by voice on WhatsApp but it got disconnected so I decided to call her again but via video call. To my surprise, the call answered and then I saw Maya Jama looking at me – she was as shocked as I was and said, ‘Who are you?’ I told her I thought I was calling Sara. It was a surreal moment and I was almost speechless. She was great though and we had a quick chat about the Euro show she does on the BBC with Peter Crouch and then we said our goodbyes.”
Luke is relishing his time in the spotlight after an unlikely encounter with former Radio 1 presenter Maya, 26, who was the face of the latest season of Glow Up.
“It was crazy and I got hundreds of messages on social media and calls from big companies,” he added. “I’ve been contacted by all the newspapers, LadBible, the BBC and even a clothing brand, but it should all be over in a week.”
