CBSE CSSS 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today, 13 October 2023, has started accepting applications for the Central Sectoral Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students (CSSS). Students who are interested in applying for the scholarship can visit the national scholarship portal – scholarships.gov.in.
As per the given schedule, the last date to apply for this CSSS scholarship is 31st December 2023. As per the official notification, all the officers of the Institute hub are requested to timely verify (verify/fail/reject) the online application of their institute application.

Who is Eligible for CBSE CSSS Scholarship 2023?
Interested students can check the eligibility criteria for CBSE Center Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students given below:
- Students who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant major from a specific examination board in XII.
- Attending regular courses (not correspondence or distance learning)
- Having a family income of less than Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum
- He does not receive any other scholarship or compensation of any kind
- Graduate students are not eligible under the scheme

Before applying to the National Scholarship Portal, students are advised to have the following documentation with them.
- Bank book
- Aadhaar card number
- Proof of parents’ income
- A valid mobile phone number
- Email ID
- Confirmation of caste wherever required
- Disability Certificate wherever required
