Lords of the Fallen offers both cooperative and competitive play, and if you’re mostly in it for the latter, you’ll want to know all about Severed Hands and the Shrine of Adyr, where you’ll need to take them to earn some rewards for all your kills. Read on to find out how to get Severed Hands and where to find the Adyr Shrine.
How to get hands cut off
Severed Hands are obtained by defeating other players in PVP. This can be done by killing someone who has invaded your game or by invading and demolishing another person in their game using the invasion option on the rest. Once you have your arms cut off, you’ll need to find the Adyr Shrine.
Where to donate Severed hands
You can donate your severed hands to the Adyr Shrine. This shrine will not be accessible early in the game, so you will need to progress through the Forsaken Fen before you can visit it.
To get to Adyr Shrine, go to the bridge where you face the Ruiner boss. On this bridge is an Umbral entity blocking the way that you can only see while in the Umbral Realm. You can clear the entity by going under the arch on the far side of the bridge and hitting the soul on the spot on the back of the bridge.

With the Umbral entity cleared and while still residing in the Umbral realm, go back to the middle of the bridge and clear some frames to find a place where you can jump to some platforms. Do so and then carefully cross by jumping from platform to platform.

Eventually you’ll come to a large platform full of pods. There’s another Umbral entity in front of you blocking your way through it, but you can look up and to the right to see another place you can soul through to open the way forward.

Climb up the ladder ahead, check the right side of this area to knock down another ladder as a shortcut, then continue down the straight path towards the huge shrine in the distance destroying all enemies along the way – bearing in mind that there is a well-hidden flame chaser waiting right at the entrance to the shrine . Inside, you’ll find the Adyr Shrine, as well as a rest that you can activate to easily bring it back every time you need to empty your Severed Hands for donations or purchases.

Donations of Severed Hands will work to fill the bar that all players within contribute to Lords of the Fallen community. As this bar fills up, it will reach new levels, giving you more things to buy with your Severed Hands, so keep donating for the benefit of all players.
