In the Council of Ministers, the president called racism “a disease of the whole society”, government spokeswoman Sibeth Ndiaye reported.
On Wednesday, the Council of Ministers called Emmanuel Macron “racism and discrimination, this scourge that is a betrayal of republican universalism” and “a disease that affects the whole society”, government spokeswoman Sibeth Ndiaye reported.
The head of state “called for intransigence on this topic” and “intensified actions” against racism, but also at manifestations in memory of George Floyd and against police violence, “he refused any amalgamation, stressing that the vast majority is the majority of the forces of order and the law cannot be dirty,” added Sibeth Ndiaye.
