EMMMERDALE legend Samantha Giles has confirmed her exit from the soap after 25 years on the ITV show – while also announcing her new job.
The Sun revealed in July that Samantha, 52, would be holding off on playing Bernice Blackstock, 25 years after she joined the show.

Now she has backed up our story, admitting on today’s This Morning that she will soon be leaving the Woolpack for good.
The actress was delighted with her role as the Evil Stepmother in the upcoming production of Cinderella.
When Alison Hammond noted that her panto job would coincide with her departure from Emmerdale, Samantha confirmed the news.
She said: “I couldn’t confirm it, actually, until now. I’m going. I think my last episode is November 14, the last episode.”

Viewers were not surprised by this as she only recently teased her new performance in Bradford’s production.
In a photo posted on Instagram, Samantha could be seen jokingly covering the faces of her co-stars in the Cinderella poster.
The actress was dressed in black from head to toe, exactly as you would expect from a panto villain.
She wore a black feathered theater hat, black gloves and a black coat as she posed for a backstage shot.
It will be the fourth time the actress has left the Dales since she began playing Bernice in 1998.
A source said: “Bernice Blackstock comes in and out of Emmerdale village more than they change barrels in The Woolpack.
“ITV and the fans have always welcomed her with open arms, but now it’s becoming a bit of a joke.
“It wouldn’t be worth betting on whether Samantha will return one day, but for now she will be leaving the soap later this year.”
