The miracle of Super Mario Bros is a sprawling platformer with plenty to discover in each of its stages, but if you want to complete the game in its entirety, you’ll also need to visit the Poplin shops scattered around the world. In these shops, you can buy useful things like power-ups, badges, and more — but collecting all of these things will cost a significant amount of Flower Coins.
You shouldn’t worry too much, as you’ll probably get most of the coins you need by playing the game normally, but there’s still a good chance you’ll run out if you’re trying to buy all 144 players and win every medal. One of the fastest and easiest places to farm Flower Coins in the game is in the Pipe-Rock Plateau wall jump badge challenge. While this stage takes a bit of practice to perfect your wall jumping, you can earn a whopping 12 Flower Coins in 30 seconds or less once you’ve perfected the run. That equates to almost 1500 flower coins per hour, which should be more than enough for you to complete your solo player collection.
Jet Run and Badge Challenge

Another effective place to farm Flower Coins is Jet Run I Badge Challenge, also located in Pipe-Rock Plateau. This stage can be completed in less than 60 seconds per run and can net you 13 Flower Coins each time. Since this is a three-star challenge, it will take a bit of skill to hit the jumps necessary to get all the coins, but after making your way through a few times, you should be able to get the time down and be able to get the coins just fine with each pass.
Bonus: plenty of coins!
Perhaps the best place to win a huge chunk of Flower Coins is Bonus: Coins Abundance! level, which is unlocked after you beat the game. This stage can respawn anywhere on the map and requires little to no skill to complete, as you’ll simply move through a linear level collecting tons of standard coins and flower coins completely without danger. Unfortunately, while this stage can earn you nearly 60 flower coins in less than 30 seconds, the fact that it moves around the map makes it unreliable for consistent farming. Even so, you’ll want to keep your eyes open for his respawn as you play because missing out on so many flower coins would be a missed opportunity!
