‘Placard to pitch’: Union Minister Anurag Thakur cheers on young cricket enthusiast’s aspirations

Union Minister Anurag Thakur was in Dharamshala to witness the much-awaited 2023 World Cup match between India and New Zealand on October 22. During the match, the sports minister came across a placard held by one of the cricket fans. Now he has posted a picture of a young fan, who is determined to ‘play for India’ and is waiting for his journey from ‘poster to pitch’.

The picture shows Aggarwal holding the placard as the minister reads it. The text on the poster reads: “One day I will play for India. Remember me. Tryaksh Aggarwal.”

The tweet was shared a day ago on X. Since then it has garnered over 3.9 lakh views and the numbers are still growing. People flooded the comments section of the post and wished Aggarwal all the best for his endeavours.
