With Halloween just around the corner, people are already getting into the spooky spirit of the season. The Cincinnati Zoo in the US is also gearing up for this spooky season. The zoo embraced the holiday spirit by treating its animals to a pumpkin feast.

“It’s pumpkin grinding season! Also known as Fiona, Fritz, Bibi and Tucker’s favorite season! Brought to you by @frischsbigboy,” reads the caption of the video shared on Instagram by the Cincinnati Zoo.
The video begins with Cincinnati Zoo employees feeding kingfishers large orange pumpkins. As the video progresses, the hippos are seen crushing the pumpkins with one powerful bite. The video also shows baby hippos nibbling on fruit that falls into the water. Several individuals can be seen filming this with their phone cameras as they look on in amazement.

The video was shared on October 16. It has since gone viral, garnering more than 3.2 million views. Many even liked the video and left their thoughts in the comments.
