IF you can spot a camouflaged toad before the camera zooms in, give yourself a pat on the back.

This means that you belong to the 35 percent of the population that has 20/20 vision.

The time scale for this challenge, however, is a very middling five seconds.

Some might say this is an impossible task.

But there are certain advantages to this optical illusion.

Our subject is not very small, but it fits perfectly into its background.

The quest comes from Rylee’s Reptiles (@siberwolf26), who has 183,000 followers.

They make the obvious statement in their post: “Toads are pretty good at camouflage.”

This was followed by, “Can you spot the toad?”

This cute amphibian is a master of disguise.

But a few commentators have been successful.

“I saw him before you zoomed in,” one person said.

Another is also: “I saw. So sweet.”

This guy knew what he was looking for: “I saw him right away. As children we caught bullfrogs.”
