NTA is revamping the main official website of JEE
JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the website for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. The new official website of JEE Main is now jeemain.nta.ac.in. Earlier, all important information was at jeemain.nta.nic.in, which was managed by the National Informatics Center (NIC). However, NTA has introduced its dedicated platform for JEE Main 2024. Furthermore, all information related to JEE Main – admit cards, results, notifications etc. will be published on the new platform launched by NTA.

The updated website has an automated chat that will serve as an online assistant for candidates. They will be able to find this online chat option in the lower right corner. According to media reports, NTA informed, “Until now, NIC (National Center for Informatics) hosted online application forms for JEE Main. NTA has now developed this new platform and is in the process of using its own server for activities related to hosting online application forms and generating city notices, entry cards and score cards, etc.”

JEE Mains 2024 Syllabus
This year NTA has also reduced the JEE Main Syllabus. She removed almost two chapters each from physics and mathematics and about eight chapters from chemistry. This happened because the NTA received petitions from various stakeholders regarding the deletion of some sections in the existing syllabus of Paper 1 (BE/BTech) as it was not taught in their 12th class board.
