As illustrated in the video, sharp vision is in the eye of the butterfly watcher.
Amidst the trees, plants and wildflowers, a butterfly is embedded in a leaf on a branch – and if spotted, you have superhuman eyesight.
Paula Varjack (@paulavarjack) showed viewers an eye trick that doubles as an optometric exam.
Spot the butterfly, read the title.
“So that little one isn’t a leaf,” the TikToker said as she pointed to several mint-colored leaves on the tree.
After a few seconds of staring, something moved.
A yellow butterfly was indeed seen spreading its wings and taking off from a branch.
According to Paula, if viewers spotted the creature running away, it only means one thing – 20/20 vision.
The flawless camouflage with the surroundings showed that only those with strong vision passed the test – which was supposed to prove perfect vision.
Regardless of whether full clarity of the camouflaged creature was achieved or not, the test was a fun few seconds of optimal – and optical – enjoyment.
