The post was shared on Instagram a day ago. Since then, it has been viewed more than 2.3 million times and has garnered numerous likes and comments.

“Try both Hyderabadi and Bengali biryani. Then tell me which one is the best,” one individual posted.

“Also try biryani from Kerala (especially from the Malabar side). It’s a different treat than other versions,” expressed a third.

A fourth wrote: “Hiroshi san, you have inadvertently become the center of controversy. India has 4-5 different types of biryani and they all feel that their version is better. Ps: Kolkata style is the best.”

“Biryani with raita is the best combination,” shared a fifth.
