Winter road in the district more in the lunch. The Erdinger road is blocked for safety reasons on sections of county roads ED 1 and ED 4. Under the weight of the snow, breaking trees or branches would be dangerous for drivers.
County – ED 1 has been called “passage prohibited” since Sunday between the turn for Pirka and the turn for Itzling. According to Alois Irl about the road where branches were cut and trees were removed. The problem there: “Because of the cold, we got the road.” That should be done by this afternoon.
The affected trees are owned by private individuals. This first had to make a road, locate and over the road protruding branches. That alone took half a day. Appeal from the Master’s Office: owners should inspect their trees more often.
According to the district office, the ED 15 between the B 388 and Maier as well as the ED 20 between Pemmering/Mittbach and Neuharting are still closed due to the risk of snow.
From Sunday to Tuesday lunch was also locked for ED 4 between Walpertskirchen and the entrance to Hörlkofen. Here the road has blown the snow off the trees, which are owned by the railroad. This doesn’t seem to hold much interest, as Irls’ report shows: “We notified the railroad, but to date there has been no call back.”
According to eyewitnesses, many drivers did not follow the instructions and just drove, in order to avoid major detours.
