In a heartwarming incident, the boy got a sweet surprise from the police officer who responded to his 911 call. The video shows the boy being hugged by the police officer after he knew he had called 911 so the police could hug him. However, that’s not all. The beautiful video also shows the officer giving him an impromptu lesson on the ‘importance of the emergency line’.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released a video on Facebook that was captured by a body camera worn by the responding officer. “A random 911 call leads to a heartwarming moment,” they wrote.
“A body-worn camera captured the moment a #teamHCSO deputy responded to a boy’s call to 911 not because of an emergency, but because he simply wanted to give the deputy a hug. Deputy Pracht shared a hug and took a moment to teach the importance of the 911 line while spreading the love,” they added.
The video opens to show Deputy Pracht telling the woman that the police received a call from their home. Soon she calls her son to ask if he called. Mali says he did, and when asked why he called, the young man explains that he did it to get a hug from the policeman. What follows next will melt your heart into a puddle.
Deputy Pracht stepped forward to give the child a big hug. He then goes on to explain that 911 is only for those cases where there is a real emergency.
