Utah firefighter’s ‘pawsome’ efforts save 2 kittens from a sewer line

Two kittens that got stuck after wandering into a sewer system were rescued by Utah firefighters. The Park City Fire District said crews responded to a 911 call from a concerned citizen who discovered two kittens had entered the sewer line through a damaged cover.

The Park City Fire District (PCFD) official took to Instagram to share a post regarding this rescue. The department wrote, “PCFD Engine 31 responded to a concerned citizen’s report of two kittens stuck in a sewer pipe. It appears the kittens entered the sewer pipe through a broken plug. Using the Snyderville Pool Camera Truck, they were able to locate the kittens and push them to shaft where they could rescue them from the sewage system.” (Also Read: Dramatic Rescue Of Cat From Mobile Phone Tower Shocks People)

PCFD went on to say, “Animal control has the kittens and is transporting them to the shelter for care and treatment.”

Previously, another cat was rescued from a drain pipe. After the man heard the cat’s cry, he immediately called the animal rescue team. The team then discovered how the cat had entered the pipe and opened it to rescue it.
