Quests for week 1 Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 is live, giving you many new ways to earn XP. This week’s quests are a bit more in-depth than you might be used to, requiring you to find hidden objects — some of which tie into new seasonal mechanics.

Season 3 Week 1 Missions
- Collect the seeds of reality (3)

Season 3 Week 1 Quest Guide
Collect the seeds of reality (3)

Much like the Zero Week quest to plant Reality Saplings, this one requires you to collect Reality Seeds. You’ll find them in Reality Falls inside the pink bulbs. One is on a large tree root found above the water surface in this area. Once you destroy the pink bulb, the reality seeds will explode and scatter around you. Choose three to complete this challenge.
Damage opponents with DMR (200)
DMR is a new weapon added Fortnite in season 3. This semi-automatic sniper rifle deals high amounts of damage, but it takes some getting used to, especially if you want to master it. You need to deal 200 damage with DMR for this quest, so make sure you loot as much as possible until you find it, then prioritize shooting your opponents with weapons. Fortunately, this challenge is cumulative, so you don’t have to deal all 200 damage in one match.
Dancing on different crashed airships (3)

There are a total of five downed IO airships on the map, and to complete this challenge you need to visit three of them and use an emote while there. Use the map above as a reference (thanks, Fortnite.gg). This one is also cumulative, meaning you don’t have to visit all three downed IO airships in the same match.
Get shields by bouncing on Slurp Bouncer Mushrooms (10)

Inside the Greasy Grove area are Slurp Bouncer Mushrooms, which can be jumped on to get shields. They are also found in other places on the west side of the island, but in Greasy Grove there are many of them. For this challenge you need to bounce on 10 Slurp Bouncer Mushrooms, which can be done in separate matches.
Modify Whiplash with off-road tires and a cow catcher, then destroy the structures (50)
This challenge is a bit of a pain since you have to collect three specific items before you can even start destroying structures. First, you need to get a Whiplash, which is Fortnite’s version of a sports car. You can find them at the locations on the map below.

Once you get your hands on the vehicle, you’ll need to find the cow catcher, usually found in the red tool boxes around the map. Sometimes there is one that spawns at the southeast tip of Coney Crossroads, just south of where you can find the Whiplash vehicle. Open the toolbox, equip the cow catcher, then throw it at the vehicle to attach it. If you can’t find it there, look for red tool boxes in nearby garages or gas stations.
From there, head to the gas station south of Coney Crossroads where you’ll find a garage with a guaranteed Off-Road Tire spot.

Throw it on the vehicle and then drive into 50 different structures to complete this challenge. It’s cumulative, but considering how boring this is to finish, it’s best to try and finish it in one match.
Search for chests in Condo Canyon or Tilted Towers (5)
This is simple. Simply land in Condo Canyon or Titled Towers and loot as much as you can. It helps if you have Visualize the sound effects On. Once you open five chests in any area, you will complete this quest.
Visit ground zero in a motorboat (1)

For the last mission, you will have to take a speedboat to the Zero Point location. Start on the north side of Tilted Towers where you’ll find a speedboat and then drive it to ground zero (marked with a circle above) to complete this mission.
