Singer Shawn Mendes seems to have found a rumored new girlfriend named Charlie Travers.
According to pictures obtained by TMZ, the “Stitches” singer and Charlie were seen having fun on the beach in Malibu, California, fueling relationship rumors. The outing happened shortly after Travers was seen at the restaurant with her arms around Mendes.
Shawn was seen getting naked in the photos, matching the TV personality’s black bra top with Calvins. While lounging in Malibu, California with Mendes, Travers also wore a lace thong. She added necklaces, hoops and a gold cuff around her arm.
In a photo obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, Charlie is seen hugging Mendes, 25, at a restaurant in West Hollywood. This was the first time they made the news. The Grammy nominee and the former “Big Brother UK” contestant cuddled up on the beach, with the former putting her hands in his hair and on his back as they enjoyed the sun.
When Page Six asked his representative to comment on the state of their relationship, he did not respond. Charlie’s Facebook says she is currently single.
The possible new relationship follows Mendes’ split with Camila Cabello. The two announced their breakup in a joint statement posted on Instagram in November 2021, after two years of dating. The two raised suspicions of a reconciliation in April 2023 when they were seen kissing at Coachella. In the months that followed, they continued to date together, even showing PDA on Swift’s Eras Tour in May.
Before splitting in November 2021, the former couple began dating in July 2019 and spent the COVID-19 outbreak together in quarantine.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for each other as people is stronger than ever,” the exes wrote in a joint statement on Instagram. “We started our relationship as best friends and we will be best friends.”
