iOS 17: How to change the clock font on your iPhone

iOS 17 is the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating software, and as usual, it brings with it plenty of new features and changes to be excited about. While it’s not the biggest update (that’s saying when one of the bigger changes mentioned is the ability to send your contact information via AirDrop), iOS 17 is still worth noting and getting if you have a compatible iPhone.

There aren’t too many changes to the lock screen this time around, with the big changes coming in last year’s iOS 16 update. However, it’s still worth staying up-to-date on how to get the most out of your iPhone’s new lock screen.

If you’re updating from a much older iPhone, you may have noticed that the iPhone clock is undergoing major changes. Prefer to go back to an older version of the lock screen clock? Don’t worry, now you can do it thanks to the ability to customize the lock screen. There are several different ways to change the font, color, and thickness of your clock. Here’s a very quick guide on how to change things.

Step 5: A new menu with a bunch of fonts should pop up from the bottom. Then you can choose any of them according to your preferences. A preview of the font you choose appears at the top, with a slider below that controls the font size. If you want to change the numbers to other options, select blue Globe in the upper left corner of the menu.

Step 6: You can also change the font color from the bottom of the screen. Once you tap a color, a slider will appear below that allows you to change the intensity.
