Markus Allen, born March 26, 1960, is an American former football player who played 16 seasons in the National Football League, primarily for the Los Angeles Raiders. He is widely regarded as one of the best goalscorers and short-distance runners in NFL history. Additionally, he was selected in 10th place overall by the Raiders in the 1982 NFL Draft following a successful college football career at USC. He was a member of the Raiders for 11 seasons and spent the last 5 seasons with the Kansas City Captain.
Allen played football at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Diego, California, where he played fullback and safe.
