Format FIFA World Cup 2026

CONMEBOL (South America): Six direct slots + one play-off spot between the federations.

OFC (Oceania): One direct slot + one UEFA confederation (Europe) play-off spot: 16 direct slots.

The three host nations will automatically qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, taking three places in the Concacaf.
