Clyde Drexler was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 22, 1962. His mother’s name is Eunice Scott, and he has three siblings: a brother and two sisters named James, Denise, and Virginia. His family later moved to Houston, Texas, in South Park. His family owns Drexler’s World Famous BBQ & Grill, now run by his other siblings.
He attended Ross Sterling High School, where he was classmates with professional tennis player Zina Garrison. At the time, he was a baseball player, and he also tried to play basketball, but failed.
