India qualified for the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) on 13 March although the fourth Test match against Australia ended in a draw. New Zealand’s victory over Sri Lanka secured the Blues a spot in the World Test Cup final for the second time in a row.
Australia secured their spot in the WTC final with a victory in the Third Test against India in Indore, leaving them with just one spot. A match is awaited at Christchurch, where both teams compete fiercely. Sri Lanka’s loss to New Zealand made it impossible for them to continue their WTC campaign. However, it has brought a sense of relief to India as they prepare to meet Australia in the highly anticipated final.
