Since dog rescuer Valia Orfanidou is traveling with her dogs in her old neighborhood about 100 miles from Athens, she takes her dogs for a walk by the beach every night.
One night while they were out, a homeless dog approached her, wagging her tail. “She recognized us in a good way, and as she was anxious to find a companion, she joined the four and tried to agree,” Valia said.
