According to NOIVAS, his father Douglas was the first black child to attend a white-only school in 1965. So he endured legalized violence and bullying and made it out alive and prosperous. So, NOIVAS felt that he should be one of those who should be honored with his performance.
On a recent Father’s Day, NOIVAS spoke once again about his “definition of a survivor” of a father who survived the Jim Crow South in the ’50s and ’60s.
Like the father of the mother of the baby BRIDES, NOVIAS also survived a fatal car accident. His has been since he was only 3 months old. He had to rebuild the entire face of it.
