William Lagioia is one of the five husbands (second husband to be exact) of the disgraced “doomsday mom” Lori Vallow. After her first marriage ended, Lori moved in with William Lagioia in Texas in 1995. They were reportedly married on October 22, 1995. They lived together out of wedlock in Austin, Texas for 4 years before getting married.
The couple had a son, Colby Jordan Ryan, on April 8, 1996, but at the time they were separated because William was in prison for assault and battery. They repaired their relationship after their son was born because Lori wanted a complete family. However, Lori and William broke up in February 1998.

During our relationship, I prayed that he would accept my religion, repent of her carnal, selfish, and sensual behavior, and become a Christian. He told me that the separation made him think about things and that he studied with the missionaries and that he wanted to change his life and accept God and receive marriage counseling and psychological therapy ”.
In the lawsuit, Lori also accused William of “knowingly and intentionally conspiring to deceive me into quitting my job (where I made about $45,000 a year) to come live with him and his parents in Brackettville, where I would work and care for we”. , pay the car and all the house bills”.
