A family representative spoke to the team and said: “A family man, he was a loyal friend and loved them dearly. With a great sense of humor, a larger-than-life personality, and practical problem-solving, he lived his life to the fullest. A former motorcyclist in Austria, Mr. Huber was an accomplished skier and avid golfer, a member of the Garden City Golf Club and the Westhampton Country Club.
His wife Susan’s publicist, Jessica Sciacchitano, wrote: “Helmut’s passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew and loved him. He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather and friend.” His cause of death has not been released, but appears to be natural.
