But although Richard is a native of Steubenville, Ohio, his family eventually moved to West Virginia and in 1973 they moved to Las Vegas, where he attended Valley High School. Richard Fiore began his career as a junior artist with International Game Technology (IGT) in Reno in 1981. There he progressed to senior designer and is credited with developing the first tilt-top slot machine, as well as the world-famous Megabucks. Shape.

At the time of his death, Richard was chairman of the LXM Pro board of directors and was working to create an X-Games-like lacrosse event that included live music, a dance competition, and more.

Loraine Fiore is a “prom queen who loves music.” Or so her son Madison said.
Unfortunately, she was battling cancer when we last saw her. But she was not alone in her fight. Madison was there every step of the way. We may bend, but we won’t break!! Furthermore, Madison said that her mother was “both inside and out, graceful, caring, passionate, cunning, intelligent, powerful, and courageous.” Every day she became less religious, but much more spiritual, less critical and more understanding. “She is a good example of the type of woman you want your family to be,” she added.
