John moved to Syria against her will, leaving her and their four children. At that time, Tania had somehow freed herself from her extremist ideologies.
In the end, Tania filed for divorce. She became the girlfriend of the highest ranking American ISIS fighter. She then signed up for a dating site and her new boyfriend, Craig, but she was still in love with John.
