The World Test Championship scoring system ensures that each series, regardless of duration, yields the same number of points to prevent teams playing fewer Tests from a disadvantage. Points are awarded based on a team’s performance in the test match, not on a series basis. In death games, when the outcome of the series has been decided, the points are divided equally among the playing teams.
